The Board carries out overall planning and decision making, supports membership and finance activities, represents and interprets the LWV in the community and safeguards the LWV’s reputation for nonpartisanship.

Education
Advocates for adequacy, equity, and sustainability for our nation's public schools
Observer Corps
Observer Corps to follow local government meetings and identify potential need for action to the LWVSC board.

Follows and studies world events.
Speakers Bureau, Chair
Disseminate information to various local organizations and to the membership, which includes league supported positions and issues. This information is presented via panels composed of committee chairs who are subject matter experts as well as board members depending on the subject.
Support enrollment and orientation of new members. Engage with new members and guide them into participation with committees. Engage with existing members to renew membership and collect feedback to allow the league to meet the expectations of its membership. Encourage membership in League of Student Voters.
Voters Services are core to the League and includes Voter Registration, Candidate Forums, informing citizens on amendments on ballots, and more. All members are by default a part of this committee but members are welcome to sign up here to be an active participant/organizer.
The DEI committee's vision is to ensure members feel safe, respected, engaged, motivated, and valued for their identities and contributions. The mission is to embed DEI as a standard practice within the organization
Fundraising Committee
To raise money to help accomplish the goals of the LWVSC and its committees.
Webmaster/Webmaster Team
The webmaster team's duties includes maintaining a website, which involves site administration, updates, and technical troubleshooting. Key responsibilities include updating content, ensuring site functionality, monitoring security, and responding to user inquiries.
