FL SUN Space Coast co-op concluded in February.We’ve calculated through email correspondence and attendance at information meetings that interest was expressed by 474 Brevard County residents, 257 became members of the co-op.
The co-op has 75 signed contracts for a close rate of 32%.(Orange County and Winter Park were the only co-ops with a higher close rate.) More than 50 have been installed to-date yielding 579 kW of renewable energy.
When complete, 75 residents will have spent $1,093,799.70 on renewable solar energy.They will have installed 578.73 kW and offset 24,415,171.92 carbon lbs. from entering the atmosphere.
