For over 100 years, the League's Membership Committees have sought passionate volunteers in all 50 states and in more than 700 communities. The League of Women Voters of the Space Coast has about 150 volunteers and supporters in our local league.

Join Membership or Other Committees

The Program of Work for the Membership Committee is:

1. Develop and implement strategies to increase membership in the League, particularly including sources such as occupational interest groups, community organizations, and diversity groups, seeking varied skills, interests backgrounds and abilities.
2. Collaborate with Voter Services and DEI to see out interest in membership at schools, community events and organizations.
3. Enhance the experience of new members through an effective New Member Orientation process and guide them toward participation in events and committees.
4. Develop and implement programs to retain current members.
5. Maintain the Roster of Members.

1. Joining the League is a great way to play an active role in your community and in our democracy! Everyone is welcome - membership in the League of Women Voters is open to anyone. Voting members must be 16 years or older.

2. Your LWV of the Space Coast (LWVSC) membership includes membership in LWV of Florida (LWVFL) and the LWV of the United States (LWVUS).
